Web3 projects raise funds on roadmap claims and release capital against promises. Investors get burned. Traditional VC locks retail out entirely. Tokenized VC experiments stay opaque, off-chain, and insider-weighted

DesciTech occupied territory nobody else had claimed: decentralized science meets deep-tech hardware, built on ICP, validated through NASA's TRL framework. The model was sound. The problem was legibility.

Nine levels of technology maturity. A multi-step application flow. A comparison framework against three competing funding models. A flagship project with three product lines at different readiness stages. All of it needing to feel trustworthy to someone who's never heard of TRL and has every reason to be skeptical of anything with a token attached.

Information architecture came first. The TRL system is a 9-level ladder from Basic Research to Market-Ready. Each level gates the next funding release. We designed an interactive visualization that lets investors track exactly where a project sits and what milestones remain before capital unlocks. Scannable in under 10 seconds.

From there, a 4-panel comparison section: Web3 funding, Traditional VC, VC Tokenisation, and DeSciTech Protocol side by side, one scroll. The differentiation becomes self-evident. The 5-stage application flow (Basics, Scope, Market, Funding, Impact) was structured to qualify serious deep-tech founders and filter speculative submissions before they reach the platform.

The brand identity used a dual-tone system dark sections for authority and trust signaling, light sections for clarity and content legibility separating DesciTech from the single-palette chaos of most crypto-native aesthetics. Logo system delivered with three directions. Full styleguide locked.

AI-augmented production compressed the entire scope brand identity, full website, application flow, visual system into a sub-4-week delivery window without cutting strategic depth. Research and UX decisions drove the timeline. Not shortcuts.

The TRL visualization gives investors a clear read on project maturity at a glance. The comparison framework handles the "why not use a DAO?" objection before it gets asked. The application flow filters for serious founders. And the flagship showcase Hydro Wind Energy, QuenchSea at TRL 9, press coverage in New Atlas, 700%+ crowdfunding overfund on Indiegogo proves the model works before a single new project applies.
